This thing was packaged well and a breeze to install. I gave it two hours to rest from shipping before I put it to work. I have a 2300 ft crawlspace with partially buried concrete walls and a poorly installed plastic vapor barrier that doesn’t cover the entire floor. Humidity was saturated for months at >80%. My favorite part of this machine, other than how well it works, is that my basement has never been this dry. Because it doesn’t have a water tank, it goes directly into the basement drain. It draws damp air from the entire basement, so there aren’t any areas that aren’t being dried. I haven’t used the remote control because the dehumidifier is in the basement. I check on it every few days, and so far, excellent!
